HOW TO PLAY

You don't know how to play the classic Sega arcade game Sonic the Hedgehog? Er, ok... run quickly, jump on things, collect rings, run even more quickly, avoid dying. Ok? It's really good fun!

SPECIAL FEATURES

1. This "Sonic the Hedgehog: Ultimate Flash Sonic" online game features a Password Save function which allows you to return to the game in the future at the same level that you were playing previously. To use it, go to the Get Password menu when you have finished a playing session and make a written note of the password. The next time you play the game in this website, enter that password and then start the game using the character you played as last time. You can then choose to start the game at the same level, or any of the previous levels, you played before.

2. As well as being able to play the game as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Cream, there are two more playable characters to unlock via the Password Save function - Amy Rose and Shadow!

3. You will also find a variety of fun cheats become available as you progress through the game's levels. Go to the Cheats menu when you have finished a playing session to see if any have been unlocked, and if they have try the game again with them turned on. The use of the passwords also allows you to access the cheats.

4. In addition to the main game, there is also a Time Trial mode to play where you can attempt to set fastest times for each level with each character, including those you unlock through the main game's passwords.

5. Finally, here is a lovely little cheat password for the game that allows you to level-select the Ice Paradise zone when you play the main game as Tails, and also allows you to have Tails follow you if you want when you play the game as any other character (just like in the classic 16-bit Sega Mega Drive/Genesis game "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" where Tails follows Sonic everywhere):

Super Mario Flash

Play as either Mario or Luigi in this brilliant Flash version of the classic Super Mario Bros. games. Use the Cursor Left and Right keys (Arrow keys) to move, the Up Arrow key to jump, the Down Arrow key to crouch and the Space Bar to throw fireballs.

In addition to the standard series of game levels that can be played, this game also includes a superb Level Editor which you can use to create and play your own levels - it includes instructions for how to use it.

To save any levels you make in the Level Editor for use again another time you visit this website, click on the "Code" option in the Level Editor main menu for the level you want to save, then click on "Copy to Clipboard" to copy the code for your level into your computer's clipboard memory, then paste that level code ("Ctrl" + "v") into the Notepad program (normally found in your Windows "Start / Programs / Accessories" menu), and then save it to your computer as a Notepad .txt file.

To play that saved level again and edit it some more another time you visit this website, simply open the .txt file you saved to your computer previously, copy the level code into your computer's clipboard memory ("Ctrl" + "a", then "Ctrl" + "c"), go into the game's Level Editor and click on one of the three "Load" options in the Level Editor main menu, then paste the level code into the large white box in the game (click inside the box first, then "Ctrl" +"v"), then click "Load", then click "Play" and you can play that level and edit it again as you wish. Remember to turn up the volume and prepare yourself to solve a mystery! ☺ In chapter one, the player has to collect 7 different keys. Furthermore the player has to find a code for a safe, a phone, and some pictures that gives an indication of the storyline.

In chapter two, the player has to find 5 x 20dollar notes to get a cab ride to the office. Before entering the office, one has to find 2 coins for the ferryman.

In the third and final chapter, one has to find 4 different pieces of of paper that combined shows a code for the container. Additionally, one has to find some objects in order to find these pieces. These are: a flashlight and a tool to open the manhole cover.
